Lost & Found

Hi There,

Its time for Mixed Media Mojo September Challenge !

Theme:  Embossing/Modeling Paste + Fall Theme

We hope that you will stop by Mixed Media Mojo, for some fabulous inspiration, to meet the new DT Members, and to join in this months challenge.
We would love to see what you create!

I used gold embossing paste and fall colors.

As I was creating this journal page I was thinking about the Amazing Grace of God.  I am so glad that He found me!

And I was reflecting on some changes that made me feel lost.  Many of  us where multiple hats.  And one of my most important roles is mother.  I took off work on the first day of school, partly so that I could experience that day with kids one more time.  Well lets just say that things have changed over the years.  I used get 20 pictures from the time they wake up, until the time we actually arrived at school.  This year I got one quick photo with my phone, because my 7th grade daughter really had to go.  This year she can ride the bus, and she did not want a parent to drive her.  Even though dad was going to the same location.   Its official we are only needed for money, and transportation!

Supplies Used:  Wendy Vecchi - Gold Embossing Paste,Watercolor Paper, Acrylic Paint, Coloring Book Page, Stencil Girl & Crafter's Workshop Stencils, Washi Tape,

Do stop by Daisy Yellow, and check out the details.  Tammy offers a wealth of inspiration, and tutorials on her blog.

Let Your Light Shine...

I hope that your weekend is off to a wonderful start!

I am sharing a journal page today, that came together over several short creative windows.  Meaning I get 5 or 10 minutes here and there to add something to the page walk away, and come back another time to play a bit more.  That's how I get it done most days. How about you....Do you start and finish in one sitting?

Focus Verse:
"Let your light shine before others" ~ Matthew 5:16

I am thinking about how I glorify God before others on a daily basis.  I think that we can do this in the mundane things of daily life.  My light may not be bright, but its consistent in the little things.  There is always room for improvement, and I am glad the HE is not finished with me yet!
